Hoka Mafate
The Hoka trail running shoe was inspired by a philosophy to make it possible for all to participate in trail running and to experience the adrenaline of going fast downhill hill safely and confidently. By using an EVA 30% softer and increasing the total volume to 2.5 times that of a typical trail running shoe, the Mafate provides more cushioning than any other shoe on the market today, and dissipates up to 80% of the shock associated with heel striking. With up to 20mm of compression in the heel, and a low ramp angle, confidence is gained in running downhill, relaxing the body and making running downhill fun and comfortable.
