The upper is very minimal but holds the foot extremely well via the sensifit lacing system. Description: The XR Crossmax Guidance is a shoe for high mileage runners who need motion control, stable cushioning and a lightweight responsive feeling. The OS Tendon follows the medial aspect to try and provide a progressive support for runner's who tend to overpronate (roll inwards). This also creates a great fluid transition throughout the toe off phase. The rear foot has been reinforced slightly more than the XR Crossmax Neutral version. The medial posting gives this shoe a more torsionally stable platform but increases the overall weight by 20 grams
